Id software is amazing for giving us these new features with brutal demons and lots of cool action in the new content. Doom (or ‘Doom 2016’, as I awkwardly call it to avoid confusion) takes a different approach by introducing SnapMap. The amazing epic gameplay of The Ancient Gods inspired me to do such a video to see if it was also possible to deliver the feeling of the new Addon to Doom 2016 players for free. I will make more videos if you can give me feedback. This new video and blog post is meant to serve some value and it features of course some music in the background. Other levels also come with even weirder functions but the dash is my favourite one in Snapmap. It was released worldwide on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in May 2016, and is powered by id Tech 6. The game is also know as Doom 2016 according to the official doom discord. It is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and was released on the Nintendo Switch on November 10, 2017. Some maps also feature boost dash functions. I am very happy about the fact that it was possible for creators to remake some epic functions and features used in the amazing Doom Eternal because they fit perfectly well with Doom 2016s gameplay. Installation time with 4 cores CPU - 7 minutes SSD (10 minutes normal HDD). I am sure people will keep breaking Snapmap even more and when people do this they usually make epic stuff…
